Luxurious Silks & Linens, Casual Denims & Cottons, Layers Of Sophisticated Modern-Retro Style.
August 18, 2011, Great Barrington, MA – Tasha Polizzi will be introducing her Spring 2012 Collections at the Las Vegas MAGIC Show and the Denver WESA Show this month. Tasha’s team is in love with these retro-modern styles because of their new, young sophistication. Novelty prints, retro-plaids and gauzy serape’s to wear with washed denim skirts and embroidered jeans highlight the Serape Tribe collection.
The Two Grey Hills Collection embodies the high/low fashion combinations Tasha is known for. Featuring the TP signature blanket knit, inspired by a vintage Navajo rug that hangs in the design studio, available in two fabulous new color combinations and bodies, the popular fringed shawl and a new hooded cardigan. Colored in Stone, a sophisticated gray, chocolate, cream or Blue Gem, in hues of blue, gray and cream, the blanket knits will be a wardrobe staple for Spring. Cotton voile shirts with captivating ruffles or intricate embroideries, dreamy silk blouses in shades of cream or fresh petal are embroidered and ruffled to layer with the Bella Coola Skirt, a sophisticated take on the essential black summer skirt. A Linen/Cotton metallic fabric is fashioned into an updated Linen Duster, a charming Scottsdale Jacket and a subtle flirty Arizona Skirt. Luxurious silks and linens layer with casual denims and cottons in an exciting modern-retro style.
The Gypsy Camp Collection is alive with color in shades of white, violet, turquoise and green. Colorful embroidered tunics and gauzy bright plaids embrace the passion of summer life, dressing up or down at a moments notice.
The TP team loves these new collections for their easy sophistication. “It’s the new retro-modern sensibility that is so appealing to me”, says Tasha.
